Now more than ever, the state of humanity calls for releasing the conditioning of the mind. In these ground-breaking workshops, participants go through a series of exercises which bring about an experience of the lesser-used right-brain hemisphere mode of being. In this state participants experience non-judgment and an ability to distance themselves from prejudices and observe those prejudices as mere (and often false) interpretations of the world around them! In this state of non-judgment, one also does not judge him or herself for having acquired prejudices. This is a guilt-free yet intensive diversity training!
A true end to racism in all of forms including police brutality, requires an understanding of the function of racism in our society and more importantly a clear understanding of how it is perpetuated through cultural reproduction.
This most popular lecture series covers the economic purpose of racism, the history of cheap labor, the history of media and stereotypes in the United States and points to practical means of rewriting our values as a society and shifting these institutions towards more just and equitable ways of being.
Change is possible! Change is a natural process which is always taking place. By understanding the processes of change, we can enact change on a personal level, at the family and community levels as well as on a societal level without being encumbered by obstacles of bureaucratic structure. Through lectures, workshops and on-going programs Chandra teaches and facilitates research-based "natural methods of change and transformation" which are largely informed by indigenous practices as well as contemporarily proven methods of transformation and rehabilitation.
